In Eucharistic Adoration, we spend time with Jesus truly present in the Blessed Sacrament. In the quiet of His presence, hearts are renewed, burdens are lifted, and we learn to rest more deeply in the love of Christ. Time before the Eucharist draws us into greater peace, prayer, and intimacy with the Lord, who remains with His people always.

Beginning Sunday, June 7 at 6:00pm, the Sheboygan County Adoration Chapel in the Reinl Center will open for continual prayer each week from Sunday at 6:00pm through Friday at 6:00pm. Through the faithful presence of adorers throughout the week, the chapel will become a place of ongoing prayer, encounter, and grace for the entire community. We invite you to consider committing to a weekly hour before the Blessed Sacrament and experience the quiet transformation that comes from simply being with Jesus.

Chapel Address: 824 Superior Ave., Sheboygan

What is Adoration?

It is the worship of the Holy Eucharist outside of Mass. The Most Blessed Sacrament is displayed for all to see and pray in the presence of Christ. In other words, it’s a chance to be with Jesus, who we believe is truly present in the Eucharist. There’s nothing complicated about it—you can sit, pray, think, or just be still. Our goal is to have someone with Him at all times.

It brings peace in a busy world, deepens your relationship with God, and strengthens families and our parish community. Even a few minutes can make a big difference!

What If I’ve Never Done This Before?

That’s completely okay. Everyone starts somewhere. You can come for just a few minutes. Over time, it becomes more natural and meaningful.

What Do I Do During Adoration?

There’s no one “right” way to “do” adoration. The whole point is simply to spend time in the presence of Jesus. How you spend that time is up to you, but here are a few ideas:

  • Sit quietly
  • Read the Bible or a devotional
  • Write in a prayer journal
  • Pray the Rosary
  • Practice mental prayer
  • Enjoy the silence

You don’t have to do it perfectly—just come.

Do I Have to Commit to a Set Schedule?

A regular hour is encouraged, but flexibility is allowed. You may try adoration before committing, share an hour, or sign up for more than one.

Can Children Come?

Yes! Families are welcome. Quiet resources are available in our lending library.

Is Silence Required?

Yes. To maintain a prayerful atmosphere, please refrain from conversation and pray silently.

How Do I Sign Up?
